UPDATE SAGUACHE COUNTY GOVERNMENT SERVICES DURING COVID-19

In an effort to slow the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community,
Saguache County government will have limited access to buildings 
beginning Monday, April 27, 2020. 

In an effort to move forward with our job duties, a decision was made
to begin integrating the public back into the county sector.  

Staff will be providing limited essential services via phone and online avenues.
In-person contact for receiving essential services will have limited restrictions during this time. 

These adjustments to county services and public access will be in place until further notice.

Public Hearing by the Board of County Commissioners to Consider Proposed Changes

The Saguache County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing at the Saguache County Road and Bridge meeting room located at 305 – 3rd Street, Saguache, Colorado, on the following date:

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2020 at 5 PM

to consider proposed changes to the Saguache County 1041 Regulations.

The proposed changes will be available for public view on Thursday, November 19, 2020 or to receive a copy of the proposed changes of the working draft, you may contact the Saguache County Land Use Department – PO Box 326, Saguache, CO 81149 or , or by calling 719-655-2321, you may also view the changes on the file link below.

The Saguache County Land Use Office has downloadable applications online at https://www.saguachecounty.net/index.php/permits-applications. If you do not see an application that you need on this list, please give our office a call and we will be happy to mail or email it to you.

Applications that you can mail in with the fees are Construction, Septic, Physical Address, Home Occupation and Home Occupation Renewal. Please review applications to see that we may require additional information needed for any application.

URGENT NOTICE FOR CERTAIN LAND USE APPLICATIONS

The Saguache County Land Use Office is now requiring an appointment for any Conditional Use, Variance request which includes marijuana variance requests. This allows the Land Use Office to review all applications for correct information and additional information that may be required. To make an appointment with the Land Use Office, you can call the office at 719-655-2321,  – or come by at 501 4th Street, Saguache, CO 81149.
