In an effort to slow the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community,
Saguache County government will have limited access to buildings
beginning Monday, April 27, 2020.
In an effort to move forward with our job duties, a decision was made
to begin integrating the public back into the county sector.
Staff will be providing limited essential services via phone and online avenues.
In-person contact for receiving essential services will have limited restrictions during this time.
These adjustments to county services and public access will be in place until further notice.
Frequently asked questions for the Saguache County Road & Bridge Office
Some roads will remain dirt road and will not be placed on a paving schedule. Determining factors for paving roads are budget and cost of maintaining the pavement, location and traffic.
Tuesday 8am to 5 pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am to 3pm and Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
Closed on Sunday and Monday.
All roads are graded based on their classification and are bladed on a rotating schedule. Primary roads will be graded most often, followed by secondary roads. Non-maintained county roads are not bladed.
The meeting room is available to non-profit entities and community groups. County meetings and departments will have priority.
