Pursuant to Saguache County Ordinance 2012-6, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DECLARATION OF OPEN FIRE BANS BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OR THE COUNTY SHERIFF, after consultation with the Forest Service/BLM, and having received beneficial rainfall which has greatly reduced the fire danger, I am canceling the fire restrictions (fire ban) within the unincorporated areas of Saguache County. This cancellation will remain in affect until conditions change that may require implementation of new fire restrictions. This cancellation is effective as of July 13, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.
