Saguache County Landfill
Full time landfill attendant, 40 hours per week, 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Must be an experienced Front End loader operator and possess a valid driver’s license. Must have the ability to do strenuous outdoor physical labor in extreme weather condition and be able to frequently lift and/or move 50 to 150 lbs. Must have cash handling experience. Recycling experience desired. Pay D.O.E. All final candidates for employment with Saguache County will be required to submit a pre-employment drug screen. Applications can be picked up at the Saguache County Road and Bridge Office, 305 3rd Street, Saguache Colorado or by mail request at 719-655-2554. Closing date for applications, June 18, 2010 at 4:00pm. Saguache County is an EOE

New Landfill Hours Beginning June 1, 2010
Saguache County Landfill
New Hours of Operation
Beginning June 1, 2010 the Saguache County Landfill will have new hours of operation. They will be:
Tuesday – 8:00am to 3:00 pm
Wednesday – 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Thursday thru Saturday – 8:00am to 3:00pm
Closed Sunday and Monday
The landfill will on occasion close early due to high winds and will be closed on certain major holidays. For information on closures and questions regarding the Saguache County Landfill please call 719-655-2554 Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm and on Saturdays 719-221-1956 8am to 3:00pm.
